Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA

Having ranked as the 13th fastest growing technology company in the UK, Peach is delighted to have placed in this year’s Deloitte Technology 2012 Fast 500 EMEA. This means that we have been recognised as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia (EMEA).

David Halstead, Deloitte UK and partner in charge of the Fast 500 program commented, “being one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA is an impressive accomplishment. We commend Peach Telecom for making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA with a phenomenal growth rate of 1347% over the last five years”.

Now in its 12th year, the annual Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program ranks the fastest growing public and private technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology companies from 24 countries in the EMEA region, based upon a percentage revenue growth over a five-year period. This year the program received more than 1,100 submissions.

We were ranked 13th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2012 UK making us one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK. With growth of 1347% over the last five years Peach serves as an example of the continued strength of the telecommunications sector and its importance in the UK economy.

In what has been a great year so far I’m delighted to announce that Peach has been shortlisted in the 2012 Comms National Awards in the best SME Unified Communication Solution category. Winners will be announced on the 11th October. Good luck to Peach and all our industry peers that have been nominated!

In their 11th year the awards aim to recognise the quality of services and solutions provided by communications companies to UK businesses. Independently judged the awards reward excellence and to inspire companies to recognise the characteristics and attitudes possessed by people working in the UK ICT industry. Following our 9th place ranking last year, Peach has again been recognised as one of the UK’s most successful companies by placing 30th in this year’s Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table. A big thank you to all partners and staff who made this achievement possible!

The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years. Tech Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each September.

The league table sees Peach rubbing shoulders with some well known brands such as Wonga, Music Magpie and Mad Bid and we are pleased to be one of 20 companies based in the South East that continue to make a strong contribution to the local economy in these tough economic conditions.

Double Award Win

The football season may be over but Peach has kicked off the telecoms award season with two championship wins.

Just last night we were named ‘Reseller Sales Team of the Year (£7.5m+)’ and overall ‘Sales Team of the Year’ at the highly prestigious Comms Dealer Sales Awards.

The awards are testament to the talent and dedication of our team members, who never drop the ball when it comes to researching the latest technologies, finding the best deals for our customers and ensuring they have all the support they need.

Our Managing Director, Darren Scott-Healey, said: "I am incredibly proud that Peach was recognised with not one but two awards. To be judged as the best of the best against our peers is truly humbling and it is fantastic to let our customers know that they made the right choice when they made Peach Telecom a part of their team.

“We never get complacent and we’ll continue to build and invest so that we can provide an even better service and prove year in, year out that we are number one.”

Darren headed to the glitzy award ceremony at London’ Dorchester Hotel with Peach’s Martin Cook to collect the award from TV comedian and author, Dominic Holland.

Howzat for Peach Telecom

Multi-award winning telecoms provider, Peach Telecom, is making its mark on the international stage this Spring as its image is beamed around the world.

The company has enlisted an unusual tactic to reach potential customers - through on-pitch advertising at the England v Sri Lanka test match.

Peach Telecom logo was emblazoned on the pitch for the start of the first test on March 26 and will be seen by millions of people globally through Sky Sports by the end of the second test on April 7.

Managing Director, Darren Scott-Healey, says the move is representative of the company’s plans to increase its turnover for the sixth consecutive year through clever marketing and sales initiatives.

He said: “We’ve always been ones to think outside the box, whether we’re researching new technologies or planning our marketing strategy. This year we have set ourselves strong goals and aim to increase our number of customers substantially through innovative thinking. Our advertising at this international game will ensure our branding is seen by millions and play an important part in increasing awareness of Peach Telecom.”

The company, which was placed ninth in The Sunday Times Fast Tech Track 100 last year, has already seen the benefits of marketing through sport. Its sponsorship of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual football competition at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton resulted in a number of sales conversions.

Darren Scott-Healey concluded: “What’s clear through our track record is our ability to win business and provide a service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. Increased brand visibility through tactics such as our advertising at the Galle International Stadium and the P Sara Oval throughout the test match will certainly further our opportunities to do this and open even more doors.”

Coverage of the match will be broadcast on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1 throughout this week.

Successful Growth Plans

We are proud to announce our successful acquisition of Vantage Communications Ltd.

Recently we were listed at number nine in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table this year. This is further proof of our ambitious growth plans are coming into fruition.

We have more than doubled our turnover in the last two years and have plans to further assert our strength within the market by growing both organically and through acquisitions.

Acquiring Vantage Communications’ client base of over 200 customers and dealers, has add a further £1.2million to our revenue.

Managing Director, Darren Scott-Healey, said: “Previously Vantage’s customers had a limited product range with only fixed lines and some broadband packages on offer. Now they are with Peach they can take advantage of our wealth of products, including mobiles, data solutions, telephone system installation and maintenance. In addition they now have a bigger support network behind them, in the form of our army of engineers and customer service advisors.”

Max Webb, Vantage Communications’ Managing Director, said: “The acquisition process went very smoothly and our customers were integrated well. They are very happy with the move and are already taking advantage of Peach Telecom’s other product and service lines.”

The deal with Vantage Communications marks Peach Telecom’s third acquisition, with the business having also acquired Harmony Solutions and Pro-Voice in recent years.

Darren Scott-Healey concluded: “2011 has been an incredibly successful year for Peach and we are capitalising on this with our ambitious growth plans for the next three years. We are lean, flexible and in a strong position within the market to make further acquisitions in coming months.”

NEC Excellent Performance

After winning an award for being the fastest growing business partner at last year’s NEC EMEA Partner Conference, Peach have thrived once again. At this year’s event held in Valencia, the company claimed an award for all-round excellent performance. “Since becoming an NEC partner just over two years ago, Peach Telecom have gone from strength to strength” said NEC Sales Director Andrew Cooper after Peach were presented with the award. “Their refreshing approach to business and consistently high achievements makes for a winning combination” he claimed.

At the conference, which brought together NEC’s major distributors and key business partners from over 40 countries across EMEA, Lex de Gier, Vice President Marketing & Sales at NEC Unified Solutions, congratulated his business partners with their achievements in the various fields. “Peach Telecom has been the fastest grower over the past year. They continue to build further and are now one of our top partners in the UK. That is the reason why we have awarded them with the NEC Excellent Performance Reseller 2010-2011 award”, de Gier commented.

Sunday Times league table

We’re over the moon to been named as one of the top private technology firms in the UK.

We’ve been listed at number nine in The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain's 100 private technology companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years.

As well as featuring in the top 10 and being the highest ranked in the south east, the table also ranks us ahead of companies such as Gocompare.com, online car trader, We Buy Any Car, and popular music recognition service provider, Shazam.

Turnover has sky-rocketed from £532,792 in 2007 to £7.1m in 2010. Similarly our workforce has more than tripled with 65 members of staff. We’ve expanded through organic growth and the acquisition of other businesses, including Harmony Solutions and Pro-Voice.

We now supply fixed lines and calls, broadband, telephone systems, maintenance on all makes of telephone systems, data solutions, hosted telephony, SIP trunking and a 118 directory service.

With our two offices we have more than 5,000 SME customers over a wealth of industries.

Being listed in the The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 comes at the tail end of what has been one of our most successful years to date. It started when we were named the fastest growing NEC reseller in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, beating off stiff competition from hundreds of other longer-established companies to take the prestigious title.

Since then we’ve been shortlisted for a staggering eight awards in as many months and signed a major deal with phone giant, O2, to become one of its selected ‘Joined Up Communications Wholesale Partner Channel programme’ partners. In addition, we were named Hampshire Chamber of Commerce’s number one supplier for communications.
