It's official. Peach is the best of the bunch.
That’s right - we’ve been named Overall Reseller of the Year at the Oscars of the telecoms industry, the Comms Business Awards.
It’s a huge accolade and one we’re incredibly proud of here at Peach.
Not only did we win the Comms Business 2011 Reseller of the Year Award in our category but we also beat off stiff competition to win the highest accolade of them all - the Comms Business 2011 Overall Reseller of the Year award.
Sales Director, Martin Cook, who picked up the gongs at the glitzy awards ceremony in the Lancaster Hotel in London last night, said: “It’s hard to put into words just how much this means to us.
“We were absolutely ecstatic when our name was read out as the winner of the first award. The room was full of around 550 people from every single mobile network, telecoms supplier and reseller in the country so to be publicly recognised for our work in front of all our peers like that really was something else.
“To then win the overall reseller award was just the icing on the cake. Although we know just how good we are at what we do, it was a massive surprise when our name was read out and a very welcome one at that. We’re going to have to reinforce our trophy shelf!
“There were over 100 companies that entered the awards, including many who enter every year. To scoop two awards in our first ever year of entering is fantastic. It is testament to the calibre and quality of our work.”
Peach’s Managing Director, Darren Scott-Healey, added: “These two awards belong to everyone at Peach as they’ve all played a part in helping us to rise to the top of the tree. These accolades give us huge credibility and recognition within the industry and mean that our customers know they are in the hands of the very best.”
We’ll be donning our tuxedos and ball gowns again in just a month’s time as we head off to the South Coast Business Awards. We’ve been shortlisted in two categories so hope to add to our silverware collection very soon.
