Nokia remains the world's number one manufacturer of mobile phones, although its position is under threat from other manufacturers, especially the new kids on the block, Apple and Android. Nokia has the advantage of loyalty from its traditional customers, but even with the launch of Symbian^3 its market share in the key smartphone sector is diminishing.
